ABOUT JOHN HUANG
John Huang
Generalist photographer, 30+ years experience, specialized in portriats, landscapes, streets, animal photography and more.
Born in 1964 in China and immigrated to Canada in 2006, John Huang has been a successful businessman, world traveller and photographer.
He started photography early in 1980s and his scope of photography has widely included animals, plants, people, sceneries, black&white and others. His works have received wide recognition and he has got several awards and prizes in Canada and in China, among which are: First Prize for portraits in Halifax, Canada ('Three Old Men', 2015), Second Prize for Scenery in Halifax, Canada ('National Park in Newfoundland, Canada', 2016), Second Prize for People in Shenzhen, China ('Bye Shenzhen', 2017), and Second Prize for portraits in Halifax, Canada ('Monk Boy in Cambodia', 2018).
He has made 1 personal exhibition in Shenzhen, China and his works have been selected to participate in several exhibitions in Canada. He has been appointed as the official photographer for World Esperanto Congress 2022 in Montreal, Canada. He has been actively involved in many social activities as a photographer in Canada.
